A Study on the Quantitative Evaluation of Hoarseness Using Sonagraph

Abstract
Recently, medical science has developed remarkably and the needs for objective data processing and storage are increasing Frequency, maximal phonation time and mean air flow rate were used frequently for evaluation of hoarseness of hoarseness for
selection of parameters to evaluate hoarseness, 39 normal persons were selected as a control group. Voice analysis was done with sonagraph. Nine parameters that differentiated normal voice from pathologic voice were selected in the range of 0~5
KHz.
Three parameters that explained Yanagihara's type objectively were selected. The results and prognosis of the layrngeal disease will be evalauated with these parameters. However, to get normal range, the number of cases should be increased.
